Announcing the passing of actors, performers, rock stars, and celebrities of all kinds, Candle in the Wind became a social media destination for those curious about the passing of pop culture icons. Our grim, yet playful graphic captures both the darkness and celebration of life. Based on 18th-century carved gravestones of New England, we designed a unique logo that features a contemporary representation of a winged skull known as a death’s head and custom typography hinting at this era of lettering.
