5 BURROW RABBIT RESCUE
LOGO DESIGN SKETCHES - ROUND 2
JUNE 1, 2026
Urban Stencil Logo
This updated take on the original stencil logo now has a tail to the rabbit adding a fifth section to the icon representing the five boroughs or “burrows” of New York City. The typography has been updated to match the design language of the rabbit icon. Letters now include zoomomorphic references to the icon such as the rabbit-paw shape seen noticeably in the foot of the letter R. Subtle hints of the rabbit’s head shape can be spotted in the letters E, A, and R. More rabbit-paw shapes can be seen throughout the letterforms like the F, S, C, and T. Taking a cue from the previous graffiti-styled logo, the two letter U’s appear as if they are rabbit head and ears.
For this updated logo, we referenced the green from the original “archway statue” logo that symbolized the rusting copper of the Statue of Liberty. We updated the colors to lean towards a fundraising-friendly look. The number 5-rabbit is now orange as this color is commonly used to assist in donation requests. The rusted copper green lettering is now closer to a teal to compliment the orange hue of the rabbit iconography.
